The 22-year-old centre-back is on a week-long trial at Aalborg where he’s hoping to earn a permanent contract and a dream move to Europe.
Gordinho, who spent some time training with Fulham alongside Siyabonga Ngezana, Ryan Moon and Emmanuel Letlotlo earlier this month, is determined to impress the Danish side's technical team and represent the Amakhosi brand well.
“I feel good about being here. It has been a nice experience so far, the club has welcomed me. I have been pushing hard at training to represent myself and the club (Kaizer Chiefs) because Chiefs is a big brand of which they know of here,” Gordinho was quoted as saying by Amakhosi.
“I’m doing my best to mould a good reputation for myself and the club (Chiefs) and make the best out of this opportunity,” he concluded.
The Glamour Boys have already confirmed that they will defintely release Gordinho to the European club if he passes the trials even though they are still in talks with him over the possibility of extending his contract with them.
His contract will expire in June this year, but both parties are confident of finalising everything in the near future, with Gordinho's agent Mike Makaab, saying the defender will only leave Chiefs for Europe.
