After picking up just one point from two games, Mumbai City coach Jorge Costa is confident of a turnaround in fortunes...

Mumbai City have not had the best of starts in the fifth edition of the Indian Super League (ISL). Head coach Jorge Costa is disappointed with the results but believes that the team can turn things around.

The Islanders lost to Jamshedpur FC and then registered a draw against Kerala Blasters in Kochi.

"The results until now are not the ones that we wanted, especially the first game. But we are working. I have confidence in the team and hope that we can do better tomorrow than in the first game. I hope that we can get all the three points," Costa said.

The Portuguese coach is confident of putting on a good show against Pune City.

"I'm happy with the team. I'm happy with the players. It is true that we are starting a bit late with the preparation. It's also true that we are building a new team. But this can not be an excuse. We will not find excuses. We're working hard every day and I'm sure that tomorrow (Friday) we will do much better than how we did in our first game."

The Mumbai City FC coach is excited ahead of the derby and was vocal about the respect he has for the Stallions and Miguel Portugal. The fact that Mumbai City FC are undergoing a transition comes as an aid to Pune who are more stable.

"I think Pune are a very good team. As I said, we are building the team, we have new players. Pune have almost the same team from last season. So they have this advantage. They are a very good team with a very good coach. They've played only one game. Playing a derby is something special but in the end, you either have three points, one point or no points. It will be a difficult game for us tomorrow."
