Kim Grant - Ghana
After only a week in charge of Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak, coach Kim Grant has urged the club's supporters to be realistic with their expectations ahead of the upcoming season.
Since 2009, the Phobians are yet to lift any major trophy, and even lost the FA Cup final to bitter rivals Asante Kotoko last year.
“The club is clearly heading into the right direction but it is important that we don’t get ahead of ourselves,” Grant was quoted as saying by Ghanaweb.
“These things take time and we need everyone to be patient as we work hard to return the club to its glory days. We will surely win titles but it has to take time before such things become a reality,” he added.
Hearts have made two big signings so far, that of former Wafa captain Mohammed Alhassan and goalkeeper Richmond Ayi.
According to reports, the Phobians are in advanced talks with Inter Allies for Niger international Victorien Adebayor.
