The 23-year-old rose to fame last season when he scored eight goals in his debut campaign with the Phobians despite missing several games due to injuries.
“I always say that it is a striker's first duty to score goals for his side. If you are a striker and you are not scoring then you have to get worried so I hope to improve in the subsequent matches,” Cosmos told Otec FM.
“It is not easy to find the back of the net but you have to put in much effort during games and I am doing just that. Last season, I was the club's topscorer with eight goals but this time around I am eyeing the league's topscorer award and want to hit double figures at the end.
“I will be training seriously to make good use of opportunities that come my way. I have to be quick and well positioned to be able to take my chances in matches. That is the only way I can achieve my target this season and make the supporters happy.”
Hearts are currently sixth on the log with one point and will host Medeama next weekend at the Accra Sports Stadium.
