The Black Stars captain is on the verge of launching an airline after obtaining an operation license

Asamoah Gyan will be launching his 'Baby Jet' Airline soon in Ghana, according to president Nana Akufo-Addo, who revealed it at the 2017 African Airshow at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra on Wednesday.

Gyan, who was ranked highest paid African footballer and sixth in the world in 2016, has officially obtained an air carrier license from Ghana Aviation Service.

“I’ve been reliably informed that the captain of our senior national football team, the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan [also known as] Baby Jet has obtained an air carrier license and he is working feverishly to establish an airline," Akufo-Addo said.

"Obviously, it will be called Baby Jet airlines. I want to call on other Ghanaians both home and abroad to invest in the rapidly growing aviation sector,” he added.
