Gor Mahia head coach Dylan Kerr says the race for another league title is not yet over despite a healthy lead at the top of the table.

K’Ogalo defeated Kariobangi Sharks 3-0 on Wednesday to open a fifteen-point gap between them and second placed Sofapaka, who have played three games more. The Briton coach is however, cautious with his approach, and feels that there is still a lot to be done.

“Yes I am happy with the way things are currently going but it is not yet over, we still have a long way. I cannot say it is over when in real sense it is not, this is football, we have to maintain the same spirit to the end, and that means until the day we are crowned.

“So for me, until the end, I cannot say the league is gone, there are so many matches to be played,” Kerr told Goal.

Up next for Gor Mahia is a match against Nakumatt on Saturday.
