Indonesian football team had a fantastic start to their campaign in the 2018 Asian Games when they took on Chinese Taipei on Sunday.
They went on to mark the occasion with a comprehensive 4-0 win over their opponents, with Stefano Lilipaly playing a starring role.
The 28-year-old attacking midfielder scored two goals and also laid on an assist for his teammates, playing a part in three of the four goals.
Lilipaly got Indonesia's account off the mark with a header from Febri Hariyadi's freekick in the 66th minute, finally breaking the Chinese Taipei resistance.
Then, he laid on a goal for Beti Goncalves. Five minutes later, he added another goal, making the score 3-0. He was absolutely influential in the game.
Ultimately, his stellar show gave India a momentous win and he is rightly named as Goal's Asian Player of the Week!
