Goal's Asian Player of the Week - Kashima Antlers' Serginho

The 23-year-old was in sensational form against Tianjin Quanjian in the ACL quarter-final second leg...

Kashima Antlers progressed to the semifinals of the AFC Champions League after a 5-0 win over Chinese side Tianjin Quanjian. That it came after a 3-0 win in the second leg made it all the more sweeter.

After starring in the first leg, Serginho kept up his good work in the second leg as well, opening the scoring. He dashed any hopes Tianjin had of a fightback by heading home from close range.

Serginho had two attempts on target the entire game and created two chances for his teammates. He also assisted Shoma Doi's third goal for Kashima.

Ultimately, Serginho's stellar show gave Kashima a comprehensive win and he is rightly named as Goal's Asian Player of the Week!
