GFE 105 maintain top spot as AllStars register big win

Nakuru AllStars were the biggest winners in NSL matches played on Sunday

Eight goals were scored on Sunday in the National Super League despite the fact that two matches ended in a barren draw.

Nakuru AllStars were the biggest winners as they managed to down MOSCA 4-1. Peter Amani, Joseph Chege, Peter Ng'ang'a and Jerome Baraka scored for the hosts while the visitors got their consolation through the team's assistant captain Tetieh Olesu. The result means Nakuru AllStars have eight points from six matches, with MOSCA at the bottom of the table with two points.

Elsewhere, Vihiga United jumped to the third position on the table after securing a 2-1 win away to Agrochemicals. The Western Kenya-based side scored their goals through Amos Kigadi. Following the result, Vihiga have 12 points after five matches with Agro Chemicals 17th on four points.

Despite being held to a barren draw by Bidco United, GFE is at the summit of the table with 13 points, eight more than their 15th placed opponents. Palos FC also failed to get past resilient Kibera Black Stars as the match ended 0-0.
