KPL leading scorer Elvis Rupia blew away a chance to take his goal tally to 16 when he missed from the spot

Tusker picked their second consecutive victory following a 1-0 win over Nakumatt on Sunday.

Debutante John Kamau scored the lone goal in his maiden appearance in the yellow Tusker shirt at Ruaraka grounds.

Despite Tusker receiving a slight setback after Lloyd Wahome was stretched off the field with an injury, the hosts held their nerves to grab maximum points.

The win saw Tusker make it two out of two after downing Vihiga United 2-0 last weekend. Robert Matano is yet to lose a league match in the last five outings.

Elsewhere, Nzoia Sugar settled for a point after they held Posta Rangers to a goalless draw at the Sudi Stadium.

KPL leading scorer Elvis Rupia blew away a chance to take his goal tally to 16 when he missed from the spot.

The draw left the two sides tied on points, same as Tusker who have 27 points, though the Brewers are top at position nine, above Nzoia and Rangers on 10th and 11th respectively.
