The Ghana Premier League debutants say they are not releasing their shot-stopper at any price

Ghana Premier League side Techiman Eleven Wonders have rejected a bid from Hearts of Oak for goalkeeper John Moosie, according to chief executive officer Takyi Arhin.

The Phobians are on the lookout for a new goalkeeper following unimpressive showing from Theophilus Jackson and Ben Mensah of late.

However, Wonders are unwilling to let go the 28-year-old shot-stopper as they hope to survive relegation.

"Hearts of Oak have officially tabled a bid for our goalkeeper John Moosie but he is not for sale at any price", Arhin told Fox FM.

"We're not ready to lose such an influential member of our team since we want to avoid relegation in our first season in the Ghana Premier League. We want to compete and not just add up to the numbers so we need a solid team.

"I believe they must look elsewhere for another goalkeeper to solve their problems because it's unlikely to trade Moosie at this crucial time," he added.

Wonders lie ninth on the log with 11 points and will travel to Nduom Sports Stadium to play Elmina Sharks on Saturday.
