Akwa Ibom vs Imo
Fortune High School, Akwa Ibom will hope to continue their impressive performance when they battle Owerri City School on Wednesday morning at the Modern Secondary School, port Harcourt.
The boys from Uyo superbly thrashed Winners Academy 4-1 in their 2017 Copa Coca Cola opening game on Tuesday, with Nwana Williams scoring a brace in that meeting, and they will be aiming for their second victory on a row to put them at a pole position to qualify at the end of the regional final.
On the other hand, the Owerri boys, who were on break on match day one will also be aiming for a win in that encounter to ensure they rank among the top teams in their region after the first set of game have been completed.
But, the boys from Owerri must be wary of Nwana Williams who has already bagged a brace for himself after just a game at the Port Harcourt regional finals.
Enugu vs Bayelsa
Winners Academy, Baylesa will hope to bounce back from their disappointing 4-1 defeat to Fortune High School, Akwa Ibom when they battle New Layout Secondary School, Enugu on match day two of the ongoing Copa Coca Cola championship at the Modern Secondary School, Port Harcourt.
Having lost their first three points in the competition on Tuesday, they must win their second game to revive their chances of reaching the national finals billed for Lagos later this year, and to achieve that, they must be able to convert every little chance they create in front of goal.
New Layout on the other hand secured their first win at the regional level after gunning down their opponent from Cross Rivers on Tuesday with two second half goals from Million Koma and Ikechukwu Onuoha.
And the star man to watch in this encounter will be Million Koma, who shot the Coal City representatives to the front in their regional opener.
Cross Rivers vs Imo
Government Secondary School, Cross Rivers and Owerri City School lock horns on Wednesday afternoon as the battle for the lone ticket to the national finals of the 2017 Copa Coca Cola championship at the Port Harcourt region hit match day two.
The Cross Rivers boys were thumbed 4-1 in their opening game on Tuesday, and if they must revive their hopes of playing in Lagos, they must ensure they win all their remaining games to keep their hopes alive.
For the boys from Owerri, compounding the woes of their opponent from Cross Rivers will be their main target as their first game is scheduled for Wednesday morning.
Akwa Ibom vs Enugu
Fortune High School, Akwa Ibom battle New Layout Secondary School, Enugu in the fourth game of the day at the Modern Secondary School, Port Harcourt.
The Uyo boys were the biggest winner on match day one with a 4-1 victory over Winner Academy from Bayelsa, and they will hope they can stretch their winning streak to two games in this meeting.
New Layout also got their campaign off to a winning start with a 2-0 win over their Government Secondary School, Cross Rivers, and with the national finals ticket at stake, the Coal City boys will not leave any stone unturned to ensure they qualify to play in Lagos at the end of the day.
