After two excellent performances in the league, Dortmund are once again backed to pick up three points...

Borussia Dortmund are strong favourites to pick up their third straight win in the Bundesliga against Union Berlin on Sunday (2:30 AM AEST) at the Alte Forsterei.

Lucien Favre's men got off to a fantastic start to the season, beating FC Bayern for the Super Cup and winning their first two league games. Another win for them has been priced at short odds of $1.28. A draw ($5.50) seems more likely than a win for the hosts ($9.00) who are searching for their first win of the season.

The Black and Yellow have been lavish with goals as well, scoring five past Augsburg and three against Koln in their first two matches. They are at $3.10 to win by more than two goals in a handicap deal offered by Sportsbet

Union Berlin were dealt a heavy 0-4 loss on the opening day of the season by RB Leipzig and they followed it up with a 1-1 draw against Augsburg and neither result shines a positive light on the newly promoted team ahead of a difficult fixture.

Jadon Sancho has been a standout performer for Favre's team. He has already picked up two goals and assists each and is priced at $7.00 to open the scoring against Union Berlin and $2.63 to score at any time in the game.

Paco Alcacer, Dortmund's surprise weapon and top-scorer last season, is on short odds at $1.72 to score in the match. The former Barcelona striker, along with skipper Marco Reus, is tipped to break the opening deadlock at $4.50.

As for Union Berlin, Sebastian Polter is backed to score at $4.00 and their only goalscorer this season so far, Sebastian Andersson is priced at  $4.33 to find the back of the net.

Dortmund has won its last four Bundesliga games and deals for high-scoring matches have always done well. Another high-scorer (over 2.5 goals) is being traded at $1.40. To make things more interesting, the average goals scored by Dortmund since the start of last season is 2.5.

With Manuel Akanji and Mats Hummels looking solid at the back for the Yellows and Roman Burki in good form in between sticks, a clean sheet for the away team is priced at $2.25 while the same for the hosts is at $9.50.
