With a mammoth 30 points separating the two teams on the table, things are set to go the way the Catalans

It’s sixth versus first as Sevilla and Barcelona lock horns at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in the Spanish Primera Division on Saturday evening.

Los Rojiblancos suffered a 2-1 defeat away to Leganes just before the international break meaning they have fallen 14 points behind in the race for the top four.

Coming up against the current league leaders and with just eight games left to wrap up the season after this, Vincenzo Montella’s side are the clear underdogs with bet365 at odds of (4.75).

The Blaugrana on their path comfortably saw off Athletic Bilbao to extend their lead over second-placed Atletico Madrid to 11 points.

The Catalan giants have always had the better of their Andalusian opponents and are (1.66) with the same betting firm for victory once again.

One has to go back to 2015 as the last time this fixture ended in a stalemate. It’s not likely here but odds of (4.00) are still available should it go that way.

Sevilla have only won one of their last 21 games against Barcelona in La Liga, keeping clean sheets in just one of them. Backing the Catalan giants to win both halves and win to nil are priced at (4.50) and (3.20) respectively.

This will definitely bring in huge rewards for punters.

What’s more is that the Andalusians have conceded at least once in their last 14 home league games against Ernesto Valverde’s side. They do look certain to concede again at odds of (1.12).

Barca have only failed to score just once in their last 36 league games in which they’ve been unbeaten. Odds of (1.44) support them to score the opening goal at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Lionel Messi did not feature for Argentina during the international break but should be available to play this game. Sevilla is the team the La Masia graduate has scored most league goals against and bet365 tip him to score first at (3.50) and (1.61) anytime.
