Belgium v Greece Betting: Routine win on the cards for Red Devils

Roberto Martinez's side have been scoring freely and conceding few goals, and we expect that trend to continue on Saturday night against Greece

The top two in Group H meet in Brussels on Saturday night in a game which could have a big say in who qualifies directly for the World Cup.

Both Belgium and Greece are unbeaten this campaign, with Roberto Martinez's men boasting a 100 per cent record from their four matches played.

Greece, meanwhile, salvaged a 1-1 draw last time out against Bosnia after three successive wins, and the 2004 European champions have responded well to the ignominy of finishing bottom of their Euro 2016 qualifying group.

Nevertheless, Michael Skibbe's side are rank outsiders for their trip to the Stade Roi Baudouin where bet365 offer them at 12/1 (13.00), while the hosts can be backed at 1/3 (1.33) and the draw is offered at 9/2 (5.50)

Belgium's impressive start to qualifying has been underlined not only by their goalscoring capabilities - with 21 strikes - but also their defensive solidity, with the Red Devils conceding just once in their four matches.

It is true that their opponents have not necessarily been of their highest calibre, yet their 4-0 demolition of a decent Bosnia side back in October underlined that Martinez seems to have found a decent balance in the side.

One negative for the hosts coming into this game is the absence of Eden Hazard with the Chelsea star missing with a calf injury.

Greece for their part needed a 90th minute wonder strike from Georgios Tzavellas to draw 1-1 with Bosnia and the Hellenic outfit are not known for their prolificy scoring. To this end, backing an in-form Belgium side to win to nil at 5/6 (1.83) should appeal, with this bet paying out in three of Belgium's four qualifiers.

While Greece have scored in all four matches so far, Belgium are by the strongest opponents they have faced, and Greece only managed nine goals versus the four sides against whom Belgium managed 21 strikes.

Belgium should score and be able to keep a relatively timid Greek attack at bay, and in a one-sided market, our selection offers decent prospects for profit.
