The Samba Boys are heading to Russia but will aim to finish at the summit when they tackle Los Amarillos

Brazil take on Ecuador in the early hours of Friday morning at Arena do Gremio in the South American section of the World Cup qualifiers.

Tite’s men have sealed their place at the global showpiece in Russia next year thanks to eight straight wins that sees them sit on top of the qualification log. A win at odds of (1.20) with bet365 would ensure they finish in first place even with four games left to play.

Los Amarillos had started their qualifying campaign on a positive note but have lost three of their last four games to sit in sixth place, two points adrift of Argentina for the play-off berth. Ecuador are underdogs with the same firm at (15.00).

A stalemate is priced at (6.00).

Brazil are unbeaten in their last eight games against Gustavo Quinteros’ side, winning six including the reverse 3-0 victory in Quito. The Samba Boys are (1.040) to avoid defeat.

The five-time world champions have scored an average of three goals in the qualifiers. Backing that outcome in Gremio is available at odds of (1.601.60).

Ecuador have scored at least once in their last nine away World Cup qualifiers but have conceded quite a lot within that time too. This gives room for both teams to find the back of the net at odds of (2.37).

Neymar made world record transfer from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain for €222 million and he’s settled in well, already being involved in six goals in just two games. The former Santos man will be the centre of attraction at Arena do Gremio and is (3.00) to score first and (1.50) anytime with bet365.
