Ayub Timbe has been ruled out for two weeks with after picking a double injury in the Chinese Super League.
The Beijing Renhe midfielder picked the injury at a time when he was riding high in the Chinese Super League.
“Out for two weeks with a knee and shoulder injury but I will be fully recovered for the next game,” broke the sad news on his social media page and
Timbe, who is serving a three-match suspension by Caf and thus will not turn up for Harambee Stars in the next two games, has been on a stellar form, scoring seven goals for Renhe this season.
The Kenyan international is expected to miss at least three games, starting with Friday's game against Henan Jianye and away ties against Guangzhou Evergrande FC and Jiangsu Sainty.
Timbe helped Renhe gain promotion to the Chinese top-tier league but was loaned out, only to be recalled in the second leg.
Renhe are currently seventh on the log with 30 points, 25 behind leaders Shangai East Asia.
