Ingwe was eliminated from the competition in the semifinals after falling by a solitary goal to Sofapaka FC.
The team is currently under a caretaker technical bench headed by Tom Juma, team manager Gilbert Selebwa and Mathew Ottamax. The bench has now turned their focus on a high even as they salivated for the Sh750, 000 prize up for grab.
"We slipped in the league but we want to make amends by finishing on a high; a third-place playoff is an opportunity for us to ensure we reward our fans. Yes, it will not be easy against Ulinzi, but we have what it takes to ensure we get that win and the reward.
"The two matches, against Nzoia Sugar and Ulinzi, in the league and Shield Cup, are winnable for us,” said Team Manager Selbwa
The Shield Cup final will be between Sofapaka and Kariobangi Sharks.
