Marvin Omondi's first-half goal handed AFC Leopards a crucial win over Vihiga United to move joint third on the log.

The win, a tenth for the Ingwe this season, pushed Rodolfo Zapata charges joint on points with Bandari.

Both teams have 39 points, though Bandari, who beat Kariobangi Sharks on Saturday, are above Leopards on superior goal difference.

Piscas Muhindo then shot Wazito ahead after the restart, but their lead lasted only for three minutes after Gerson Likono pulled an equalizer for the mailmen.

Likono completed the job with a brace after slotting home his second goal of the day in the 62nd minute to hand Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omollo maximum points.
