David Beckham and Manchester United's famous 'Class of '92' have collaborated with sportswear giant Adidas to produce a limited edition shoe in homage to their legacy.
The likes of Paul Scholes, Gary Neville, Nicky Butt and Ryan Giggs have followed Beckham into the world of fashion to help launch the footwear and the design was officially released on November 3.
The news of the Adidas 'Ninety-Two' was announced last week in the wake of the David Beckham Capsule Collection launch and only a limited number of pairs were produced, making them an exclusive Adidas product. Goal has taken a look at the venture.
WHAT IS THE ADIDAS 'NINETY-TWO'?
The 'Ninety-Two' is a special edition shoe produced by Adidas which draws its inspiration from one of the most famous groups of players to play for Manchester United.
Paul Scholes, Phil Neville, Ryan Giggs, Nicky Butt, David Beckham and Gary Neville all came through at Old Trafford at the same time and have since been popularly dubbed 'Class of '92'.
The group played their part in the Red Devils' successes in the late 1990s and early 2000s, which included a Champions League title and a famous treble in 1999.
As such, the 'Ninety-Two' shoes use the Manchester United colour scheme of red, black and white as inspiration for the outside, with the club badge featuring on the inside of the shoe.
As well as the United badge, the insole features the pattern of one of the most iconic Adidas away jerseys worn by the club during that period.
According to Adidas only 1,992 pairs were available for purchase and each pair was individually numbered from one to 1,992.
HOW MUCH DOES THE ADIDAS 'NINETY-TWO' COST?
The Adidas 'Ninety-Two' was available for the rather symbolic price of £92.
However, since there were only a limited number available for purchase, they have been completely sold out.
It is unclear whether Adidas will decide to produce more shoes in the style of the 'Ninety-Two' but the popularity of the product is undoubted.
