Abia Warriors assistant coach Patrick Ngwaogwu has revealed that his players are in a high spirit of the Nigeria Professional Football resumption.

The team placed eight in the Nigeria topflight resumed training on Wednesday at the Umuahia Stadium after week without action owing to the 2018 Fifa World Cup.

As the team prepares to face Sunshine Stars at the Akure Stadium, the club’s deputy tactician has given a state of the team’s readiness.

“The squad is in good spirit and remains focused. It’s always difficult to recover fully after a brief holiday due to the World Cup,” Ngwaogwu told Footballlive.ng.

“The technical crew has done well to prepare the boys for the task that lies ahead. I must commend the players. They were all professionals at training.
