David McGoldrick and Cyrus Christie named in Ireland squad to face Scotland

Two new faces added to Ireland squad ahead of Friday's crunch Euro 2016 showdown against Scotland at Celtic Park
Martin O'Neill has finalised his squad for Ireland's Euro 2016 qualification match against Scotland on Friday as well as the friendly against USA next week.

Derby County's Cyrus Christie and David McGoldrick of Ipswich Town have been added to the squad as O'Neill trimmed his final number down to 27 for the two games.

Marc Wilson and Glenn Whelan of Stoke City have not been included after injuries but James McCarthy will travel with the squad to Dublin to be assessed after suffering an injury playing for Everton on Sunday.

Goalkeeper Keiren Westwood also drops out of contention from the initial list due to injury and there are no places either for Stephen Kelly, Brian Lenihan, Shane Duffy, Paul McShane, Damien Delaney, Paul Green, Simon Cox or Connor Sammon.
