Limerick FC manager Pat Scully has added to the ranks at Jackman Park, signing 25-year-old Slovakian defender Robert Kluciar to help with the Blues' promotion push.
Kluciar is a former Slovakian under-20 international, and moved to Ireland during the summer following spells at Slovakian Super Liga club FK Dukla Banská Bystrica and Czech Republic second division side FC Zenit Čáslav.
The defender had been training with the Airtricity First Division side while waiting on international clearance, with manager Pat Scully happy to have signed him for the rest of the season. "We are delighted to get Robert in," Scully told the club's official website. "He is a strong skilful defender that will give us cover at the back for the second half of the season."
Kluciar is expected to be included in the Limerick FC squad for Friday's home game with SD Galway at Jackman Park.
