Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has praised Daniel Cleary and predicted that the Ireland youth international "is going to have a very good career in the game."
Cleary, 19, is making strides at Anfield and was an unused substitute in the Reds' 1-1 Europa League draw against Bordeaux. The Dubliner has also been included in the provisional panel for the upcoming clash against Sion.
"Daniel is a very good player, he is going to have a very good career in the game. He is very committed," Rodgers told reporters.
"I have seen developments in my time, as a young player, I've seen him improve.
"I'm sure if he doesn't get the game time here at the moment there will probably be a loan period for him.
"But in the mean time he is playing in the Under-21s and playing very well."
