Bray Wanderers sign Salmon & Byrne

Mick Cooke has bolstered his squad ahead of the 2016 season with the addition of two new players

Bray Wanderers have completed the signing of duo Mark Salmon and Alan Byrne.

Former Longford Town captain Salmon revealed his delight with the move, writing on his Twitter page: "Delighted to say I have signed for @BrayWanderers. Looking forward to getting going now."

Byrne arrives at the Carlisle Grounds having previously played for Drogheda United. The defender will now link up with former manager Mick Cooke once again.

The pair join the Wicklow club on two-year deals and follow Mick Daly, as well as Peter Cherrie, in commiting to Bray Wanderers ahead of the 2016 season.
