Commentary

That's all for today, goodbye!
That's a big win for Scotland as it takes them four points clear of today's opponents in second place. That's three wins on the bounce for Clarke's men and they've got the Faroe Islands next. Israel stay third in Group F, and next up for them is Moldova.
McTominay's stoppage-time goal seals a 3-2 win for Scotland over Israel. The visitors took the lead just five minutes in when Zahavi scored a great free-kick. McGinn curled in an equaliser just before the half-hour mark, but Israel restored their lead just two minutes later through Dubbar's tap-in. Dykes also missed a penalty at the end of the first half. After the break, the forward did pull them back level when his goal was awarded by VAR before McTominay chested in a corner in the 94th minute to earn the three points.
90' + 8' FULL-TIME: SCOTLAND 3-2 ISRAEL.
90' + 7' Clarke is urging his players to stay calm from the sidelines and Robertson takes the ball into the corner as he tries to run the clock down. Israel aren't giving him any time on it, but Scotland are determined to see this one out.
L. Cooper
B. Gilmour
Scotland
90' + 5' Clarke is making a late change as Gilmour goes off for Cooper.
J. Hendry
Assist
Scotland
90' + 4' It looked like it was an attempt on goal by Hendry in the middle, but the flick-on ended up being a good ball to set up McTominay for what is sure to be the winner.
S. McTominay
Goal
Scotland
90' + 4' MCTOMINAY SCORES! McGinn curls a corner into the box and Hendry gets in front of his defender to glance a header onto the far post. McTominay isn't picked up by any of the Israel defenders, and he stays onside to chest it past Marciano on the line. 3-2 Scotland!
90' + 3' Scotland are pushing forward again now and Gilmour slides a good throughball into Dykes on the edge of the box. He holds off Peretz as he tries to find space for a cross, but it's blocked by the midfielder.
90' + 1' Into six minutes of added time here and Israel are pushing for a late winner. They've been on the back foot for most of the second half, and Solomon just can't keep hold of the ball long enough to put a cross into the box.
89' GREAT SAVE! Christie just breezes past Kinda on the right and pulls a great ball back to McGinn at the near post. He hits the shot first time, keeping it low, but Marciano gets down to keep it out with his legs.
O. Davidzada
S. Menachem
Israel
87' Israel are making another change here as Menachem makes way for Davidzada.
87' It's a lovely ball over the top from McGinn on the right to pick out Dykes' run down the left of the box. He brings it down with a great first touch, but Abu Abaid gets back quickly and the forward sees his shot blocked.
N. Patterson
Yellow Card
Scotland
85' Patterson is the latest player to have his name taken by the referee after he slides in on Solomon, getting nowhere near the ball.
84' Israel just can't get out of their own box at the moment as Scotland recycle a corner kick. McTominay nods it onto McGinn, who hits the shot first time, but it bounces into the ground before looping high over the bar.
82' Dasa is holding his foot after the challenge from Gilmour, but it's not as bad as it initially looked, and he gets up quickly after his treatment, so he'll be able to carry on.
B. Gilmour
Yellow Card
Scotland
81' It's a really poor challenge from Gilmour as he slides in on Dasa and takes out the wing-back. The referee goes straight to his pocket to show him a yellow card.
N. Bitton
Yellow Card
Israel
81' Bitton crashes into McGinn, getting nowhere near the ball, and he's booked for the challenge.
80' It looks like Abu Abaid landed awkwardly on his knee in his attempts to stop Christie and he's gone down. The medical team are on to give him some treatment, but it looks like he'll be able to carry on.
78' Scotland are working it well down the left and Christie does brilliantly to hold off Abu Abaid as he cuts inside to get into space. The defender doesn't give up though and Christie can't find a way past him.
76' Israel are just slowing the pace of the game down at the moment, and they're in no hurry to push upfield. Eventually, Peretz decides to go over the top to Weissman, but he fouls Tierney when he tries to cushion it.
G. Kinda
O. Arad
Israel
74' Third change for Israel now and it's Arad that's going off for Kinda.
72' NO GOAL! Gilmour floats a free-kick into the six-yard box and Dykes jumps just behind the keeper, but Marciano spills it. Christie pokes it in at the far post, but the whistle had already gone as Dykes is judged to have fouled Marciano.
70' Dykes is only the second Scotland player to score in three consecutive World Cup qualifying appearances after Mo Johnston, who netted in five consecutively between September 1988 and April 1989.
R. Christie
C. Adams
Scotland
68' Adams does make his way straight off the pitch with the medical team and Christie goes on in his place.
67' Adams is down here for Scotland and the medical team are on giving him some treatment. It's not clear what the injury was, but Scotland are getting Christie ready, and it looks like his game is over.
D. Glazer
B. Natcho
Israel
66' Natcho, who is on a booking, is also going off, with Glazer on for him.
S. Weissman
M. Dabbur
Israel
66' Israel are making a double change here, with Dabbur the first to make way for Weissman.
64' Natcho spots Zahavi's run between Scotland's defenders and slides a throughball forward for him to chase. Gordon is alert though and rushes out of his box to clear the danger.
62' GREAT SAVE! Scotland are really upping the pressure here and it's Tierney that whips in a cross from the left this time. Dykes peels away from his defender to head an effort in at the far post and Marciano pulls off a brilliant save to push it off the line.
61' It's a sloppy pass from Arad as Patterson intercepts it and then breezes past the defender to get into the area. He cuts inside before drilling a low cross into the six-yard box and Marciano gets down to push it away.
59' GOOD SAVE! Israel almost have their lead back again as Menachem curls another wonderful cross in from the left and Zahavi has a free-header from close range in the middle of the box. Gordon gets behind it though and manages to bundle it away from goal.
E. Zahavi
Yellow Card
Israel
57' Zahavi is now shown a yellow card for dissent after the goal was given for Scotland.
A. Robertson
Assist
Scotland
55' The ball originally got away from Robertson and he had to stretch to keep it in play before whipping in a great cross.
L. Dykes
Goal
Scotland
55' DYKES SCORES! It's a brilliant cross in from Robertson on the left as he whips it onto the edge of the six-yard box and Dykes makes a late run to get on the end of it. It was originally ruled out for a high boot tackle on Arad, but after going over to the monitor and seeing the replays, the referee awards the goal. 2-2!
A. Robertson
Yellow Card
Scotland
55' Robertson is leading the protests for Scotland against the goal being disallowed and the referee quickly goes to his pocket to produce a yellow card.
54' McGinn has scored 10 goals in home qualifying matches (World Cup/Euros) - more than any other Scotland player.
52' Scotland have made a bright start to the second half and Tierney links up well with McGregor down the left. He has a lot of space but hits his early cross straight at Abu Abaid.
50' BLOCK! Solomon flicks the ball up in a poor attempt at a clearance in the middle of Israel's half and it falls to Adams, who turns before driving into the box. He has a go from a tight angle, but Arad makes a good block at the near post.
J. McGinn
Yellow Card
Scotland
49' McGinn goes through the back of Solomon to try and win the ball back and he's booked for the challenge.
48' Scotland are asking for another penalty here after Patterson goes down in the box this time. There's a coming together between him and Arad, but there isn't enough in it and the referee tells him to get back to his feet.
46' Israel get us back underway for the second half!
As things stand, Israel are moving above Scotland into second in Group F into the play-off place. They've scored with their only two shots and have looked dangerous going forward. Scotland were booed off by the fans, and Clarke's men are going to need a big second half if they want to win this game and stay above their opponents.
Israel take a 2-1 lead over Scotland into half-time. It took the visitors just five minutes to break the deadlock when Zahavi whipped a brilliant free-kick through a gap in the wall. Scotland pulled one back through McGinn just before the half-hour mark when he curled an effort around Marciano. Israel were ahead again just two minutes later as Dabbur tapped in Gordon's save and Dykes saw his penalty saved by Marciano just before the break.
45' + 4' HALF-TIME: SCOTLAND 1-2 ISRAEL.
45' + 3' Dasa steps in front of McGinn to win the ball back and threads a good throughball into Zahavi. The forward has to stretch to bring it under control before touching it into Dabbur. He knocks it onto Solomon first time, only for the offside flag to go up against him.
O. Marciano
Penalty Save
Israel
45' + 1' Marciano looked confident as Dykes stepped up to take the penalty and he just stood his ground in the middle of his line to deny the forward.
L. Dykes
Penalty Miss
Scotland
45' + 1' IT'S SAVED! Dykes steps up to take the spot-kick and he gets the power behind it as he hits it straight down the middle. Marciano doesn't even move on his line apart from sticking out a leg to keep it out. Still 2-1 Israel!
B. Natcho
Yellow Card
Israel
44' Natcho is also shown the first yellow card of the game for the tackle that gave away the penalty.
44' PENALTY TO SCOTLAND! Marciano has to punch away the corner from Patterson on the line, and he gets it out to Gilmour who is just inside the box. Natcho slides in and brings him down just after he hits the shot and the referee points straight to the spot.
42' It's switched out to Robertson on the left and he slides it through to Tierney. He has two Israel defenders in front of him and tries to squeeze through a small gap to get into the box, but he's crowded off it in the end.
40' Scotland are still pushing for a second equaliser here, but they just can't find a way in behind the visitors. Israel are keeping their shape well and frustrating their opponents.
38' Adams initially does well to hold off Abu Abaid as he drives forward down the left, but then he goes to ground and is asking for a free-kick. There wasn't much in it though and the referee waves him back to his feet.
36' Israel have everyone back in their own half and Scotland are struggling to open them up at the moment. Robertson is allowed to carry the ball a long way, but there are no options ahead of him and he's forced to play it backwards.
34' Menachem slides a brilliant throughball down the left to pick out Solomon's run, and he's in behind Patterson as he runs into the box. He's forced into a tight angle by McTominay, and he can't pull it back for Zahavi on the edge of the area.
32' There were some questions being asked by the Scotland players after Gordon stayed down holding his shoulder following the goal. The referee saw nothing in it though and the goal will stand.
M. Dabbur
Goal
Israel
31' DABBUR SCORES! And just like that, Israel are ahead again! It's messy from Scotland as they defend the free-kick, but Natcho curls a great cross into the box. Dykes sticks out a leg to take it off Abu Abaid, and it hits Zahavi, so Gordon has to stretch to keep him out. But Dabbur is there to tap it in and the lead is restored. 2-1 Israel!
A. Robertson
Assist
Scotland
29' It looked like Adams had sold Robertson short with the return pass, but the captain stretched to reach it before teeing up McGinn for the goal.
J. McGinn
Goal
Scotland
29' MCGINN EQUALISES! Scotland have been ramping up the pressure, and they've got their reward! Robertson plays a one-two with Adams as he cuts inside before picking out McGinn on the edge of the box. He takes a touch to set himself before curling a shot around Marciano and into the far corner. 1-1!
27' It's a good piece of play by Israel as Peretz plays a one-two with Natcho to open up a bit of space before playing a throughball to the edge of the box. It's just behind Zahavi though and Hendry intercepts it.
25' Tierney's free-kick is cleared, but Scotland quickly win it back and get it out to Robertson on the left. He whips a great cross into the middle, which McTominay heads back across goal at the far post, but it's blocked by Bitton.
23' McTominay whips another corner in which is blocked by the first man, but Gilmour tries to keep it alive on the edge of the box. He heads it back towards the near post, but no one is there to get on the end of it.
21' The Scottish fans and players are furious after the referee awards a free-kick Israel's way when they're in on goal. There was a coming together between Dykes and Arad in the air and the hosts think it was a soft one to go against them.
19' McTominay caught Dabbur with a late challenge and the forward has stayed down, looking like he's in a lot of pain. He received treatment on his knee before gingerly getting back to his feet, but it looks like he'll be able to carry on.
17' Israel are still patiently passing the ball upfield until Menachem decides to whip an early cross towards Zahavi on the edge of the box. It's a poor ball from him though which is cleared by Patterson.
15' GOOD SAVE! Tierney nicks the ball off Dasa and quickly goes long to pick out Dykes' run through the middle. He holds off two Israeli defenders to bring it down before having a shot from a tight angle on the left which is well-saved by Marciano.
13' It's a great long ball over the top from Bitton after a patient passage of play from the visitors. Solomon peels off the back of McTominay to get one-on-one with Gordon, but his first touch lets him down and the keeper collects it.
11' Scotland have a chance to break quickly on the counter and Adams is slipped in down the left. He takes it into the box and has Dykes and McGinn up with him in support, but a heavy touch takes it away from him and out of play.
9' Natcho curls in a deep corner and Peretz heads it back into the danger zone. Zahavi tries to flick it on but is blocked by McTominay before Menachem drills a shot in from the edge of the area which is blocked by Hendry.
7' Israel's high press is causing Scotland all sorts of problems at the moment as Dasa is quickly in on Robertson to nick the ball back. He spins past him before swinging an early cross into the box, but it's blocked by Tierney.
E. Zahavi
Goal
Israel
5' ZAHAVI SCORES! Zahavi steps up to take the free-kick, and it's a great hit from the forward. It's just to the left of the D, and he whips his shot through a gap in the middle of the wall and Gordon can't react quick enough to keep it out. 1-0 Israel!
4' Zahavi flicks a header out to Dasa, who is in a lot of space down the right. He overhits the cross, but Solomon chases it down to keep it alive. He touches it into Zahavi on the edge of the box, and Hendry brings him down just outside the area.
2' Scotland make a quick start to the game as McGinn slides the ball through to Patterson on the right. He pulls it back for Adams on the penalty spot, but his first-time shot is straight down the middle at Marciano.
1' Gilmour gets the game underway for Scotland!
The teams are out on the pitch now, with kick-off just moments away!
Scotland are looking to win three consecutive home World Cup qualifiers for the first time since winning all five in qualifying for the 1998 World Cup.
Willi Ruttensteiner makes five changes from the loss to Denmark, though a lot of them are enforced. Usual defenders Eitan Tubu and Orel Dgani are injured and Hatem Elham is suspended, so Arad and Abu Abaid come in, along with Peretz, Bitton and Dabbur. Glazer and Weissman drop to the bench.
Steve Clarke makes just two changes to the side that beat Austria last time out as he brings in McTominay and Patterson. O'Donnell starts on the bench, while Grant Hanley misses out through suspension.
ISRAEL SUBS: Eden Shamir, Joel Abu Hanna, Gadi Kinda, Dan Glazer, Shon Weissman, Liel Abada, Suf Podgoreanu, Itamar Nitzan, Yonatan Cohen, Edi Gutliv, Ofir Davidzada, Daniel Peretz.
ISRAEL STARTING XI (4-3-3): Ofir Marciano; Eli Dasa, Ofri Arad, Sun Menachem, Eyad Abu Abaid; Dor Peretz, Bibras Natcho, Manor Solomon; Nir Bitton, Eran Zahavi, Munas Dabbur.
SCOTLAND SUBS: Scott McKenna, Ryan Christie, Liam Kelly, Liam Cooper, David Turnbull, Lewis Ferguson, Stuart Armstrong, Kenny McLean, Stephen O'Donnell, Jon McLaughlin, Ryan Fraser, Kevin Nisbet.
SCOTLAND STARTING XI (3-5-2): Craig Gordon; Scott McTominay, Jack Hendry, Kieran Tierney; Nathan Patterson, John McGinn, Billy Gilmour, Callum McGregor, Andy Robertson; Che Adams, Lyndon Dykes.
Scotland currently sit second in the group, with just one point separating them and today's opponents in third. Scotland's first loss in qualifying came against runaway group leaders Denmark at the start of September, but two tight 1-0 victories over Moldova and Austria have kept them in the hunt for the play-off place. As for Israel, after failing to win either of their opening two games - which included a 1-1 draw with Scotland - they won three in a row before being brushed aside 5-0 by Denmark in their most recent outing.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the World Cup qualifier in Group F between Scotland and Israel at Hampden Park!
