Commentary

Thanks for joining our commentary this evening. Until next time, goodbye.
Pescara remain in the relegation zone, and will be disappointed that they did not at least hit the back of the net this evening, enjoying good chances in front of goal. They will have to improve in the final third if they are to avoid the drop.
Juventus extend their lead at the top of Serie A with a routine win over Pescara. Sami Khedria, Mario Mandzukic and Hernanes all got on the scoresheet to secure the three points as Massimiliano Allegri's men won without being at their best.
FULL-TIME: JUVENTUS 3-0 PESCARA
90' + 2' The referee ends the contest.
90' There will be two minutes of added time.
90' OFF THE LINE! Juve are grateful to a goalline clearance from Evra to maintain their clean sheet. Zuparic almost bundles the ball home from close range, sliding his effort through Neto's legs, but the Frenchman was there to clear the danger.
A. Bruno
Yellow Card
Pescara
87' Bruno collects a harsh yellow card for an evenly-contested challenge on Higuain. The way the Argentine fell may have convinced the referee to brandish the card.
85' Pepe gets around the back of the Juve defence and puts a great ball into the middle, but the referee blows his whistle for offside against the veteran striker.
M. Kean
M. Mandžukić
Juventus
84' Mandzukic makes way for 16-year-old Moise Kean.
84' Pescara knock the ball around in the Juventus half until Asamoah decides he has had enough, applying the pressure that forces the mistake from the visitors.
82' CHANCE! Sturaro gets greedy at the back post as he latches on to Higuain's cross at the back post, but he opts to chest the ball towards Mandzukic rather than head at goal, and it allows Bizzarri to gather with ease.
80' SAVE! Bizzarri makes a smart save with his fists to beat away Sturaro's powerful strike from 16 yards. Sandro's cross caused all sorts of problems in the box, but no one could capitalise until Cuadrado teed up the midfielder to power his effort at goal, only to be denied.
78' Juve are in cruise control now as they are passing the ball around the pitch at will. There could be a chance for Higuain to end his frustrating evening.
A. Bruno
B. Cristante
Pescara
76' Bruno replaces Cristante for the final 14 minutes.
75' Higuain still can't get his goal as he lobs the ball over Zuparic on the edge of the box and then attempts to strike an effort on the half-volley with his left foot, only for Vitturini to make the block.
73' This match is not entering the phase of how many goals Juve want to score this evening. There will be ample opportunities for them, but they could just ease off the gas peddle with their exploits next week in mind.
S. Sturaro
S. Khedira
Juventus
71' Khedira has been excellent this evening and has been withdrawn from the action to be replaced by Sturaro with their Champions League clash against Sevilla next week in mind.
Alex Sandro
Assist
Juventus
69' Sandro notches an assist for simply passing the ball to his team-mate.
Hernanes
Goal
Juventus
69' GOAL!!! Juventus notch their third goal and this one is the best of the lot as Hernanes unleashes a powerful strike from 25 yards that finds the bottom corner, leaving Bizzarri with no chance. A super effort and that should wrap up the three points.
67' SHOT! Brugman collects a loose ball 30 yards from goal and with little on around him he tries a speculative effort at goal, but he drags his effort well wide of the target.
66' CHANCE! Cuadrado whips a free-kick in from the right and Higuain gets the better of his marker on the penalty spot, but he can only guide his header over the bar.
S. Pepe
S. Pettinari
Pescara
65' Pettinari is withdrawn for Pepe.
S. Khedira
Assist
Juventus
63' Khedira perhaps miscues his header, but Mandzukic turns it into an assist by poking home from close range.
M. Mandžukić
Goal
Juventus
63' GOAL!!! The combination that opened the scoring in the first half has done it again, this time with the roles reversed. Sandro's cross was headed into the six-yard box by Khedira and Mandzukic was on hand to steer his effort past Bizzarri to double Juve's advantage.
62' CHANCE! Pescara lose possession in the middle of the park and Khedira raids forward before sliding a pass through to Higuain. The Argentine lets the ball roll across his body before shooting, but he fails to generate enough power to beat Bizzarri, who makes the stop.
59' The Brazilian lofts his cross into the box, but the Pescara defence clears with relative ease. It's not clicking for Hernanes in the final third today.
58' Juve win another free-kick on the left flank, which Hernanes will take. His set-pieces have not been the best today, let's see if he can turn that around.
56' CHANCE! Khedira makes a good run into the right inside channel and he pulls the ball across the edge of the six-yard box. Mandzukic turns his man to try and strike the ball, but he somehow blasts his effort off his own hand and the visitors clear the danger.
55' Juventus work the ball around on the edge of the box and it comes to Hernanes, who loses his patience and opts to go for goal. However, he strikes his effort well over the bar.
53' OFF THE POST! Cristante gives the ball straight to Higuain on the edge of his own box. With Bizzarri out of position the striker goes for goal, but sees his effort clatter of the post and bounce wide.
51' Zuparic keeps tabs on Higuain even when the striker is on the edge of his own box. The Argentine just stops as he has his shirt pulled by the defender, waiting for the inevitable sound of the referee's whistle.
50' Cuadrado loses out to Caparai and he breaks away through the middle, but the winger gets back at him to win the ball before he can threaten the Juve goal.
48' Sandro weaves his way past Cristiante twice, but then eventually goes down under a challenge, winning a free-kick on the left flank.
D. Vitturini
H. Campagnaro
Pescara
46' Campagnaro makes way for Vitturini at the break for the visitors.
46' We're back underway in this Serie A contest.
The players are back out for the second half, so we should be underway shortly.
Massimo Oddo will want to see the same urgency from his team after the break, but he will know that there is plenty more to come from the league leaders.
Juventus have been far from their best this evening, but still lead at the break through Sami Khedira's strike. Pescara have played well thus far and should be level as Gianluca Caprari missed a great opportunity to score before the German found the net for the home side.
HALF-TIME: JUVENTUS 1-0 PESCARA
45' + 1' The referee ends the first half.
A. Crescenzi
Yellow Card
Pescara
45' Crescenzi goes into the book just before the break for another foul on Cuadrado.
45' There will be one minute of added time.
44' Mandzukic and Higuain almost combine in the box with the Croat laying the ball invitingly for his strike partner to fire at goal, but Brugman makes a last-second intervention to just knock the Argentine off his stride.
42' SHOT! Memushaj surges down the left flank flank and cuts in on his right foot before launching a powerful effort at goal. Neto makes the save, palming the ball up in the air and he makes the claim at the second attempt under pressure from Pettinari.
40' Juve are still not playing with complete confidence out there, but Khedira's strike shows that they are capable of upping the ante at any moment.
39' Pettinari does well to get the better of Sandro in the box and he puts the ball towards the penalty spot, but Cristante just fails to reach it in time, catching Asamoah rather than the ball with his slide.
M. Mandžukić
Assist
Juventus
36' Manduzkic plays his part in the neat one-two to set up Khedria for his side's opening goal.
S. Khedira
Goal
Juventus
36' GOAL!!!! Khedira opens the scoring as he links up brilliantly with Mandzukic in the final third before poking his effort beyond the reach of Bizzarri. A nice team move from Juve to take the lead, with the German finishing in style.
33' Higuain loses possession on the edge of the box, playing his pass straight to Cristante. The Argentine thought he was fouled there and lets the referee know his feelings about the decision not to award a free-kick.
32' Juve are lacking a bit of energy in the first half. They need to regain the sharpness in and around the box they had before the international break.
31' Bonucci attempts to show off his range of passing with an audacious long ball forward for Asamoah, but his pass goes straight out of play for a goal-kick.
29' Pescara are hanging in well against the league leaders at the moment, and arguably should be ahead as Caprari's chance has been the best of the half thus far.
27' Hernanes lifts his free-kick into a dangerous position, but Biraghi does well to clear over his own bar in a difficutl situation.
26' Cuadrado makes a surge down the right flank and attempts to the challenge of Crescenzi, but the Pescara defender drags him to the ground. Resulting in a free-kick for the home side.
J. Cuadrado
S. Lichtsteiner
Juventus
25' Lichtsteiner makes way with an injury and is replaced by Cuadrado on the right.
23' CHANCE! Caprari gets in behind the Juve defence as he latches on to Zuaparic's ball over the top, but he takes his strike on the second bounce rather than the first, sending his attempt just past the post.
22' Asamoah hits a low ball into the box and Zuparic takes a poor touch in his attempted clearance, allowing Higuain to strike. Fortunately for the Pescara defender the striker can only boot his effort well wide of the target.
20' SHOT! A loose ball falls to Hernanes 25 yards from goal and he lines up a left-footed strike at goal, sending his shot just past the post, although Bizzarri appeared to have the corner covered.
18' Higuain is settling into the game now and it seems only a matter of time before he gets on the scoresheet.
17' CHANCE! Sandro does brilliantly down the left flank to open up space for cross to the near post and he places the ball perfectly for Higuain to head at goal, but the Argentine sends his effort narrowly past the post.
16' Zuparic makes a mess of his headed clearance in the box and it forces Campagnaro to hold off Mandzukic in the six-yard box before Bizzarri comes off his line to gather.
15' Cristante battles with Asamoah in the middle of the park and he gives away a free-kick, much to his frustration as it appeared he got a stud or two on the ball.
13' CHANCE! Sandro tees up Higuain in the box and he tries to carve out room for a strike, but Campagnaro makes a block to divert the ball wide for a corner.
12' Juventus are quite content being patient with their passing game at the moment. They're not forcing anything in the final third, slowly building a rhythm.
10' The home side win their first corner of the game, but Sandro's delivery to the back post is wasted as Higuain is penalised for pulling Pettinari's shirt.
9' Juventus are controlling possession, but have not made significant strides forward into the final third as of yet.
7' Mandzukic gets caught hard from behind by Campagnaro, but the referee waves play on until Sandro puts the ball out of play so his team-mate can receive treatment.
5' Higuain attempts to get the better of Zuparic down the right flank, but the referee deems that the striker nudged the Pescara man in the back, awarding a free-kick to the visitors.
4' Zampano does well with a forward run to slide the ball into Memushaj's path, but Alex Sandro just does enough to force the midfielder out wide to quell the attack.
2' Memushaj makes a run into the final third and lifts a cross towards the edge of the box, but Pettinari can only head his effort straight into Neto's hands.
1' We're underway in this Serie A contest.
The players are making their way out on to the pitch, so we should be underway shortly.
Pescara have made five changes to their side from their defeat to Empoli. Cristiano Biraghi, Dario Zuparic, Gaston Brugman, Bryan Cristante and Stefanno Pettarini all come into the side this evening.
Juventus have made six changes from their 2-1 win over Chievo. Neto replaces Gianluigi Buffon between the sticks, while Patrice Evra, Daniele Rugani and Leonardo Bonucci return to form the back three. Kwadwo Asamoah and Sami Khedira come into the side in the middle of the park.
Pescara subs: Fiorillo, Bruno, Manaj, Benali, Aquilani, Pepe, Vitturini, Muric.
Pescara (4-2-3-1): Bizzarri; Zampano, Campagnaro, Zuparic, Crescenzi; Brugman; Memushaj, Cristante, Biraghi, Pettinari; Caprari.
Juventus subs: Buffon, Audero, Chiellini, Sturaro, Pjanic, Lemina, Marchisio, Cuadrado, Kean.
Juventus (3-5-2): Neto; Rugani, Bonucci, Evra; Lichtsteiner, Khedira, Hernanes, Asamoah, Alex Sandro; Mandzukic, Higuain.
The team news has been announced and we'll start with the home side.
Pescara have claimed just seven points from their opening 12 fixtures, leaving them in 18th place in the table three points adrift of safety. The club have lost their last four matches in the spin in Serie A, including their 4-0 drubbing at the hands of fellow strugglers Empoli at home last week.
Massimiliano Allegri's men are four points clear at the top of Serie A following their 2-1 victory over Chievo last week. Juventus have the opportunity to extend their advantage and put pressure on their title rival with a win tonight over struggling Pescara.
Good evening and welcome to the live commentary of the Serie A clash between Juventus and Pescara.
