UEFA Europa League Qualifiers

That's all for today, goodbye!
Liverpool stay top of the table and go five points clear of Manchester City once again with that victory. Their attention now turns to the EFL Cup when they travel to MK Dons in midweek. Chelsea drop down to 11th in the table and Lampard will be hoping his side can bounce back when they face Grimsby Town in the Cup on Wednesday.
Liverpool's perfect start continues with a 2-1 win over Chelsea. Alexander-Arnold opened the scoring with a wonderful goal fired into the top corner after Salah laid off a free-kick to him. Chelsea thought they'd equalised just before the half-hour mark only for VAR to disallow it as Mount was offside in the build-up. Minutes later, Firmino got Liverpool's second when he headed Robertson's cross into the back of the net. Kante pulled one back for Chelsea in the second half with a brilliant strike into the top corner.
Marcos Alonso
Yellow Card
90' + 4' Robertson makes a brilliant run into Chelsea's half from the edge of his own box and Alonso gets a booking for bringing him down.
J. Gomez
Mohamed Salah
90' + 2' Klopp is trying to run down the clock a little now with his final change as Gomez comes on to replace Salah.
90' MOUNT FIRES OVER! Once again, it's another good cross into the box from Alonso and Mount gets ahead of Matip to get on the end of it. He meets it on the volley but his effort sails high over the crossbar.
88' BATSHUAYI COMES CLOSE! It's a brilliant cross into the box by Alonso and Batshuayi is unmarked in the middle as he rises to meet it. He flicks it on, aiming for the far bottom corner, but sends it wide of the post instead.
J. Milner
Yellow Card
86' The yellow card is out again and is shown to Milner this time after he slid into a challenge on Zouma.
M. Kovačić
Yellow Card
84' Once again, Chelsea feel they should've had a free-kick that they didn't get and Kovacic has talked himself into a booking.
A. Lallana
J. Henderson
84' Second change from Klopp now and Lallana is coming on to replace Henderson.
83' Mount's frustration is starting to show now as he feels like the referee isn't giving any fouls against him. He was caught by Alexander-Arnold as he ran down the left wing, but the referee didn't think there was anything in it.
81' GREAT SAVE BY ADRIAN! Mount whips the free-kick into the far post and picks out Alonso. He heads his effort down into the ground which Adrian saves with his foot, but he was offside so it wouldn't have counted anyway.
80' Chelsea break down the field quickly on the counter-attack and get it into a good position high up the field on the left when Willian is brought down by Matip and Chelsea they have a free-kick in a good position.
Yellow Card
78' Fabinho is the latest player to receive a yellow card after he drags Batshuayi to the ground.
M. Batshuayi
T. Abraham
77' Final roll of the dice for Chelsea now and Lampard brings on Batshuayi in place of Abraham.
75' Willian tries to pick out Abraham's run into the middle of the box with a throughball. The forward is being tightly marked by Matip though and he reaches it first to clear the danger for Liverpool.
73' Chelsea are pushing forward once again following the restart and when the ball falls to Alonso on the left, he decides to cut inside and have a go himself. It's a poor effort though and it finishes wide of the target.
J. Milner
S. Mané
71' Klopp makes his first change of the game following Chelsea's goal and it's Milner that comes on in place of Mane.
71' Kante did all the hard work on the goal, but Azpilicueta played him in with a short square ball when he saw him in a lot of space in the middle of the field.
N. Kanté
71' GREAT GOAL FROM KANTE! He turns past Fabinho wonderfully and then isn't closed down as he makes the run to the edge of the box and sets himself for the shot. He fires his effort past Adrian and into the top right corner. 2-1!
69' Mane is given a lot of space to run down the left wing and he picks out Salah with a good cross. The Egyptian cuts back inside but is closed down by two Chelsea defenders who block his shot.
67' Jorginho switches play out to Azpilicueta on the right with a brilliant cross and the Chelsea captain then fizzes one into the middle of the box. There's a lot of players in there and it's Van Dijk who reaches it first to clear the danger.
65' Wijnaldum gets the ball from a throw-in and quickly turns his defender before curling an effort towards goal from outside the box. His shot is always rising though and it sails over the crossbar.
63' Chelsea have conceded 13 goals in their first six league matches of a season for the first time since 1978-79 (also 13).
61' Chelsea are really starting to put some pressure on Liverpool now, but their passing in the final third has been letting them down and they've been gifting possession back to Liverpool.
59' KANTE COMES CLOSE! Liverpool don't clear their lines from a corner and it bounces to Kante who's waiting on the edge of the box. He takes the shot first time and fires it just wide of the post.
T. Alexander-Arnold
Yellow Card
57' Alexander-Arnold is shown a yellow card now for time-wasting.
55' Jorginho spots Willian's run into the box and tries to pick him out with a deep cross. No one is marking him but the cross is just out of his reach and runs out of play.
53' Chelsea quickly break up the field and Azpilicueta tries to link up with Willian down the right with a throughball. The Brazilian had just drifted offside though and Liverpool have the free-kick.
51' ANOTHER GREAT SAVE BY KEPA! Alexander-Arnold puts a dangerous cross into the box which Zouma clears from in front of the goal line. It bounces back off Azpilicueta though and the keeper has to make a reflex save to stop the own goal.
49' Liverpool have made a bright start to the second half and are putting Chelsea under a lot of pressure early on. Alexander-Arnold tries to square his cross to Firmino in the middle, but Tomori is there to clear it.
47' GREAT SAVE BY KEPA! Firmino was waiting unmarked at the far post on a corner and hit his shot back across goal on the volley. Kepa reacts quickly and dives to get a hand to the shot and deny him.
46' Chelsea get the game back underway for the second half!
Klopp will be pleased with how clinical his side have been in the first half, after scoring both of their shots on target. They haven't really created too many other chances though, so he will want to see an improvement on that after the break. Lampard's frustration at not scoring in the first half was clear and he'll be wanting to see more from his forward players. Abraham has had a couple of good chances but hasn't been able to beat Adrian and if they can get him involved more, they will look more of a threat.
Liverpool take their chances in their first half and lead Chelsea 2-0 at the break. Alexander-Arnold opened the scoring with a brilliant goal after Salah laid off a free-kick to him and he fired it into the top right corner. Chelsea thought they'd equalised through Azpilicueta just before the half-hour mark, but VAR overruled the decision as Mount had been offside in the build-up. Firmino then doubled Liverpool's lead minutes later when he headed Robertson's cross past Kepa and into the back of the net.
45' + 2' Alonso is unmarked down the left and puts a very good cross into the box. Adrian looks like he has it under control but then spills it but recovers quickly to reach the loose ball before Willian.
45' GOOD CHANCE FOR ABRAHAM! Azpilicuta puts a good cross into the box and Abraham rises above Matip to get on the end of it. He flicks it on, but his shot finishes wide of the far post.
44' Jorginho chips his pass over Robertson to set Abraham off on a run down the right. The forward set off a bit too early though and the flag goes up for offside.
K. Zouma
A. Christensen
42' Christensen is in a lot of pain as he's helped down the tunnel by the medical team and Lampard brings on Zouma to replace him.
40' Christensen was caught on his knee by Tomori as they both went to block Salah's shot and he's currently receiving treatment for the injury. Lampard has substitutes warming up and he might need to use them as Christensen limps off the field.
39' Salah has a free run down the right wing and he cuts back into the box to get his shot away. He's trying to curl his effort into the top corner, but Christensen gets across to make an important block.
38' The injury for Abraham isn't as bad as it first looked and he's now back on the field.
36' Abraham is down in Liverpool's box and clutching his shoulder after being caught by Adrian when they both went for the same ball. He's getting some treatment, but it's not looking good for the forward.
34' Chelsea are just trying to slow down the pace of the game a little bit now as they take their time on the ball and patiently build up their attacks from the back.
32' Jorginho's frustration is just starting to show now after he catches Henderson with a late challenge. He isn't happy with the Liverpool captain and the referee has to go over to calm him down.
A. Robertson
30' Just like the first set-piece, Salah drags the ball back so Robertson has a better angle for the cross and he picks out Firmino perfectly in the middle.
Roberto Firmino
30' FIRMINO SCORES! Minutes after Chelsea have a goal ruled out, Liverpool double their lead! A free-kick on the left is crossed brilliantly into the box by Robertson and Firmino rises higher than anyone else to get his head on it and send his effort past Kepa. 2-0 Liverpool!
28' DISALLOWED! VAR had a look at the goal and spotted that Mount had been in an offside position in the build-up. A cheer from the Liverpool fans can be heard as the decision is overturned. Still 1-0 Liverpool!
27' CHELSEA ARE LEVEL! Willian squares a cross into the middle and Abraham's shot deflects off Fabinho and is saved by Adrian. He palms it back into play and Azpilicueta latches onto the loose ball and hits his shot under Adrian and into the back of the net. 1-1!
26' Mount swings a corner into the box for Chelsea and he's looking for Abraham in the middle. Van Dijk just gets there ahead of him though and heads it to safety.
24' GOOD SAVE BY ADRIAN! Christensen plays a brilliant throughball to Abraham, who times his run to stay onside. The forward takes a touch before drilling his shot towards the far bottom corner, but Adrian is quickly off his line to deny him.
22' Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 60 Premier League games when scoring the first goal (W51 D9).
F. Tomori
Yellow Card
20' Tomori is shown the first yellow card of the game after catching Henderson as he slid in to try and win the ball.
19' Liverpool are passing the ball around with a lot of pace whenever they go forward, but Chelsea are starting to close them down higher up the field now to win possession back.
17' Chelsea are starting to put some pressure on Liverpool now as they look for a quick equaliser. Willian puts a good cross into the box, but he can't pick out a team-mate in the middle.
Marcos Alonso
15' There's an early change here for Chelsea as Emerson has to come off the field with an injury. Alonso comes on to replace him.
Mohamed Salah
14' It was clever play by Salah who just changed the angle of the shot for Alexander-Arnold to then fire it in.
T. Alexander-Arnold
14' ALEXANDER-ARNOLD PUTS LIVERPOOL AHEAD! The away side have a free-kick on the edge of the box which Salah just drags backwards into the right-back's path. Alexander-Arnold runs onto it and fires his effort straight into the top right corner. 1-0 Liverpool!
13' Chelsea have beaten the side starting the day at the top of the Premier League on 18 occasions - three more than any other side.
11' Mount pulls away from Van Dijk and squares a brilliant low cross into the box. Abraham is in the middle waiting for it, but he can't sort his feet out quick enough to make contact with it.
10' Mane is making some really good runs down the left for Liverpool but his team-mates have been struggling to pick him out with their passes into the final third.
8' Kante plays a good throughball into the right side of the box to try and pick out Willian's run. He's being tightly marked by Van Dijk though and the defender shepherds the ball out of play.
6' It's all Liverpool at the moment as they continue to press high up the field and the home side are struggling to get out of their own half due to their pressure.
4' Henderson spots Mane's run this time and tries to pick him out with his cross to the edge of the box. Azpilicueta sees the danger though and makes an important interception to take it away from him.
2' Alexander-Arnold spots Mane's run into the box and puts a cross deep into the box from near the halfway line on the right. It's a good cross, but Kepa comes off his line to collect it.
1' Firmino gets the game underway for Liverpool!
The teams are coming out onto the pitch now, with kick-off just moments away.
Liverpool have lost just once in their last 44 Premier League matches (W36 D7) and are unbeaten in their last 22 (W18 D4), their longest such run in the competition's history. In fact, Liverpool last went 23 league games unbeaten in November 1990 (23).
It's just one change to the Liverpool team that lost on Tuesday by Jurgen Klopp. Milner starts on the bench, with Wijnaldum coming in to replace him.
Frank Lampard makes two changes to the side that lost in midweek. Emerson and Kante both come into the side in place of Zouma and Alonso, who drop down to the bench.

Chelsea are unbeaten in the league since losing their opening match (W2 D2) but also suffered a loss in the Champions League on Tuesday when Valencia beat them 1-0.
