Yanga have named a strong starting line-up to host Singida United in the Premier League match set to be played this evening at the Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium.

The build-up to the match has been surrounded by news of Yanga’s Head Coach George Lwandamina reportedly being set to rejoin former club Zesco United at the end of next month.

Lwandamina will be returning to Zesco for a second spell having left them to join the Jangwani Boys in 2016. He led Zesco to the Premier League title in his debut season and also guided them to the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League in 2016.

In this evening's game against Singida United, Yanga have restored Obrey Chirwa, Kelvin Yondani and Papy Tshishimbi in the starting line-up after being left out of the squad in the 2-0 victory in the CAF Confederation Cup against Ethiopia’s Wolayta Dicha due to suspension.

Following their impressive performances against Dicha, Hajji Mwinyi, Abdallah Shaibu “Ninja” and Rafael Daud retain their starting spot.

Both Thaban Kamusoko and Vicent Andrew “Dante” have been left out of the squad. There is no news about Kamusoko but Dante was injured during the Dicha clash and is in a race to recover in time for the trip to Ethiopia.
