Leicester City defeated newcomers Brighton and Hove Albion 2-0 on Saturday with no sign of Ahmed Musa as he was left out of the squad again having also missed the Foxes 4-3 opening day defeat at Arsenal.
Life is becoming frustrating for Musa in East Midlands as he has failed to nail a regular spot in the team. He arrived from CSKA Moscow with a lot of expectations to excel following four fruitful years in the Russian capital but he failed to impress former boss Claudio Ranieri – who purchased him for a then record £16 million, and current manager Craig Shakespeare.

He made 21 league apperances last term, scoring twice, playing for a combined total of just 755 minutes.
Efforts to make the 24-year old an effective strike partner with Jamie Vardy proved abortive neither could he challenge Marc Albrighton and Riyad Mahrez on the flanks.
It is to this effect that Musa needs to leave Leicester for better opportunities.
Hull City manager Leonid Slutsky has indicated this week that he would be interested on bringing Musa on loan to the KCOM Stadium as he had managed him while in charge of the Red-Blues. Moving to the English second tier might be a step back for the Nigerian wideman who boasts of experience both at club and country level but it might just be the best solution at least on a temporary basis.
A host of Premier League clubs like Everton, West Bromwich Albion, West Ham and Brighton had all been rumoured to show interest in acquiring the services of former Kano Pillars man but none has materialised.

Ahmed Musa must find a new club before the transfer window shots otherwise he risks seeing his chances of representing the Super Eagles become slim as they try to make it to the World Cup in Russia next year. It also risks undermining his value which would be terrible considering his pedigree.
