Among all the stellar performances that we saw, we have picked out three standout players for the fans to deliberate upon and decide whose contribution was the best of the lot.

Our first candidate is this week's Toyota Player of the Week - Khalid Eisa . The Al Ain goalkeeper was sensational between the sticks in his team's 3-0 win over Iranian outfit Zob Ahan, pulling off an amazing tally of 10 saves to keep a cleansheet. More importantly, the win helped Al Ain qualify for the knockout stages.

The next candidate for the honour is Guangzhou Evergrande midfielder Paulinho . The Brazilian bagged a brace and was in imperious form in his side's 6-0 win over Eastern SC in Group G which has seen them surge to the top of the table. He clocked an impressive 89 passes in the game with a success rate of 97% - commendable figures indeed.

Our final candidate is Lokomotiv Tashkent forward Marat Bikmaev. The Uzbek forward netted a hattrick in his team's 4-4 draw with Al Taawoun in Group A, which kept their hopes of qualification alive. Bikmaev was at his predatory best on the day, scoring his first with a header and then converting a penalty in the first half. He completed his hattrick with a scuffed finish from a low cross into the area.
