Tusker set for departure without influential winger

Kenyan Premier League champions Tusker FC will leave the country for Mauritius on Thursday where they will play AS Port-Louis 2000 in the second round of Caf Champions League’s preliminary stage.

The two sides played to a one all draw last weekend at Kasarani Stadium but the club's media liaison Diana Yona has confirmed to Goal that the team will leave without one influential player for the second leg match.

"The team is ready for the return leg, it will leave tomorrow (Friday) at 2:25pm. Everyone is set for the journey save for Danson Kago who is injured. The spirit is high and we expect to get positive result that will take us to the next stage."

Any high scoring draw or a win by any margin will see Tusker into the next stage of the competition.
