Great Olympics former coach Godwin Attram has revealed that the club's top hierarchy have resolved the differences between the technical team and playing body ahead of their matchday 12 fixture against Liberty Professionals on Sunday.
The Wonder Club have gone five games without a win and have picked only two victories so far this season, leading to the appointment of Swedish manager Tom Strand to replace Attram.
However, Attram had rejected the decision by the board of directors.
The 36-year-old held training sessions on Wednesday and Thursday with 15 first team players at Fire Service Park while Strand led a separate training session with 14 players on a different ground, which brought about chaos in the team.
"A meeting was held this morning to resolve the issue. Lots of people have been calling me. Very high ranking people for that matter to tell me that I've got my own future at stake, therefore I should take it into consideration and resolve the issue," Attram told ETV.
"I don't have any problem with Great Olympics because Amarkai Amarteifio told me to rescind my resignation and what I said on the airwaves and I have agreed. I respect him a lot and pleaded to him to come out and speak about this brouhaha and whenever he's done I will also come out and announce my decision of rescinding my resignation from the club," he said.
"Talking about the game against Liberty Professionals on Sunday, I don't have any option than to wish the team and new coach well for the match but I'm pleading with the fans that my players who were at the centre stage of this whole issue will not play part of the game. This is because they need to clear their minds after all that have happened in the past few days. After that we will all come on board and help Great Olympics achieve the set goals," he added.
Olympics sit 13th on the log with 10 points, two points below safety.
