AFC Leopards have rehired Tom Juma to assist Rodolfo Zapata, Goal can reveal.

The tactician was unceremoniously relieved of his duties by former coach Robert Matano after failing to 'fit' into the system. However, as explained by Secretary General Oscar Igaida, Juma is the right man to work with the Argentine Rodolfo Zapata to take the team forward.

“We have re-appointed him (Juma) as coach Zapata's assistant, we believe in his ability. Remember he fell out with the former coach, not us and that is why we have him back to help the coach. He is a popular figure among the players.

“However, he will have to clear first with his current side Zetech University before officially taking the job,” Igaida told Goal on Wednesday.

Ingwe is currently fourth on the log with twenty-five points after playing sixteen matches.
