AFC Leopards head coach Stewart Hall says that his side fought extremely hard to collect all points against Thika United on Sunday.
The match was played at Thika sub-county Stadium and the coach says the pitch was completely in bad condition for football; a thing which forced Ingwe to adjust for the 2-1 win.
He only feels happy by the fact that they had trained for all kinds of pitches ahead of the match. "The pitch is completely not in good shape. I wouldn’t expect my players to play in this kind of a pitch; it’s not football now here, it’s a fight.
"Yes we have won, but it’s because we have strategies for playing in both bad pitches and good pitches but this is not a good pitch at all," he told Goal.
AFC Leopards are now placed at position two, a place above Gor Mahia and behind Posta Rangers on the Kenyan Premier League table.
