Simon Msuva leads the golden boot race in Moroccan league

Msuva’s six goals saw him move into the outright lead in the Moroccan Premier League goalscoring charts after their last game against Chabab Atlas Khénifra.

The Tanzania star player who signed with the Moroccan Difaa El Jadida team in June 2017 from Young Africans is in the club's first team and his contribution to the North African side has been enormous.

Msuva who is the league top scorer is closely followed by FUS Rabat's Senegalese Mohamed Diakite with five goals, Mohamed Mohamed Aulad, a Belgian playing for Wydad Casablanca with five goals too.

Other players topping the list of foreign players as top goal scorers include Mamadou Sidibe from Mali playing for Rapide Oued Zem, former Blackpool player Saer Sene currently playing for Chabc Atlas Khenifra, Abubakr Toungara FAR Rabat and Guillauke Doa playing for Wyadad Casablanca all with 3 goals.

Difaa Al Jadida is 5th in Batola Pro league table standings.
