The Second Division I-League final round kicked off at Bengaluru on Thursday. In the opening match, Hindustan FC defeated Manipur’s TRAU FC 1-0 and in the second match, Real Kashmir FC defeated Bengaluru's Ozone FC 3-2.

In the first match of the day at Bengaluru’s FSV Arena, Hindustan collected full points, thanks to a 97th-minute strike from Tushar Chaudhary. It was an evenly poised game which saw both sides coming close to score on multiple occasions but none could find the back of the net.

Hindustan coach Vikrant Sharma brought in Tushar Chaudhary in place of U-22 player Pawan Pratap Singh in the 87th minute. The change did wonders for the club as the ‘super sub’ scored the winning goal in the dying moments of the match.

In the second match, Real Kashmir FC came back from behind twice to beat Ozone FC 3-2. It was a nail-biting encounter which witnessed five goals. Ozone took the lead in 26th minute when their Brazilian striker Robert de Souza converted a penalty. Forward Nadong Bhutia equalised for Real Kashmir in the 39th minute.

Former Mohun Bagan and Kerala Blasters striker CS Sabeeth restored Ozone’s lead in the 67th minute. Just when the match was turning in Ozone’s favour, Real Kashmir midfielder Ritwik Das turned the tide and scored an equaliser in the 89th minute. Ivory Coast striker Kouassi Yao scored the winning goal for the Kashmiri club in the 95th minute.
