Scotland were drawn in Group C for the qualifiers of the 2026 World Cup.
They took on Greece, Belarus and Denmark twice in the group stage, starting from September 2025. It could have been Portugal instead of Denmark in the group, but the former's Nations League success meant it was to be Denmark in this group.
Group winners would qualify automatically for the World Cup and the team that finished second will have to navigate through the play-offs.
Each team in the group plays the other teams twice, home and away.
