Thika United home match against Ulinzi Stars has been moved back to the Thika Sub-County Stadium from Meru.
Thika had moved the Sunday’s tie to Kinoru Stadium, but the decision was later quashed by The Kenyan Premier League after the facility failed the standard test.
A spot check on the facility, which has been under renovation for the past couple of years, revealed the pitch is not yet ready for the league match, leaving the hosts with no option but to return to Thika
Both teams will be hoping to pick themselves up in the match. Ulinzi Stars will be hoping to get back to winning ways after a torrid time out in the last five matches.
The Soldiers have picked just two points in the last five games; in the draws against Kakamega Homeboyz and Bandari FC.
Thika United, who are just three places from the bottom, picked a point against Ulinzi Stars in the first-leg meeting in Nakuru in a 0-0 draw.
After that result, the milk traders went on a four-match winning run.
Ulinzi are currently seventh on the log with 30 points, while Thika, who have gone for four matches without a single victory, are 15th with only 19 points after 20 rounds of matches.
