Parma forward Gervinho has been named the Serie A Player of the Month for November by the Italian Footballers’ Association.
The Cote d’Ivoire star succeeds Inter Milan's Mauro Icardi after scoring two goals in three matches as Roberto D'Aversa's men managed two wins and a draw in their league outings this month.
After a goalless draw against Frosinone, the 31-year-old scored a goal each as Parma pipped Torino and Sassuolo to 2-1 victories.
Gervinho has had an impressive return to the Serie A since his summer move from Hebei China Fortune FC, scoring five goals in nine league matches so far.
