Orlando Pirates will take on their fierce rivals Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday in what is expected to be a pulsating Soweto Derby encounter

Goal picks out five players who could swing the Premier Soccer League (PSL) game in their favour.

The young striker has been a revelation for Kaizer Chiefs this season - having established himself as key player for Steve Komphela's side. Moon, who is good in the air and quick on the ground, has scored four goals in eight league games in the current campaign.

His form in front of goal has relegated experienced marksman Bernard Bernard to the bench. Moon is heading into the Soweto Derby having scored three goals in his last four competitive games and he has repaid the faith in him shown by Komphela.

His aerial strength and finishing ability will trouble Pirates defenders, and if he can reproduce his recent good form, he could be a game changer for Chiefs on the day.

The attacking midfielder is enjoying his best season in the PSL having scored crucial goals which helped keep Pirates' hopes of winning this season's league alive. Memela, who is blessed with a dangerous left-foot, has scored three goals this season.

The Western Cape-born player almost single-handedly dismantled Mamelodi Sundowns as the Buccaneers secured an impressive 3-1 victory over their Gauteng rivals in Tshwane last January.

Memela's pace down the wings is a great asset, and he will look to exploit the Chiefs full-backs and inspire Pirates to victory.

The accomplished goalkeeper is one of the reasons why Chiefs are still in the race for the PSL title having kept four clean sheets in his last five league games. Khune's distribution is a big asset for both Amakhosi and South Africa.

The 30-year-old, who can initiate attacks with superb accurate throws and goal kicks, has played an important role in helping Amakhosi register important victories this season.

He is also a quality shot-stopper with great reflexes, and he has improved his catching at set-pieces down the years.

Khune's stops and distribution could be key in helping Chiefs overcome their main rivals in Nascrec.

The Zambia international is brimming with confidence at the moment having inspired Pirates to a 4-2 victory over Chippa United last weekend. The mobile striker netted a brace as the Buccaneers brushed aside Chilli Boys in Port Elizabeth.

The 21-year-old marksman, who was on Sundowns' radar before he joined the Buccaneers last September, is starting to show glimpses of his true potential and he can terrorize the Chiefs defenders with his pace and movement.

Shonga could rise to the occasion against Amakhosi and play an instrumental role in helping the Buccaneers grab the bragging rights.

The attacking midfielder remains an important member of the Chiefs team despite being 33. Tshabalala is set to make his 31st consecutive Soweto Derby appearance on Saturday.

The left-footed attacker, who is blessed with a fine first touch, is one of the most productive players in the PSL this season having scored three goals and contributed five assists.

Tshabalala's impeccable experience can prove to be the difference between Amakhosi and the Buccaneers.
