Njombe Mji Head Coach Ally Bushiri claims that their 2-0 home defeat against Simba on Tuesday is due to the lack of experience of his players.
Bushiri added that his team played well throughout the game but Simba used capitalizes on experience to score with both of the chances they created in the game.
A John Bocco brace helped Simba to hold off the battling Njombe based side in the Ligi Kuu match at the Saba Saba stadium.
Speaking in the post-match conference, Bushiri conceded defeat and revealed that they will try to correct the mistakes in the coming matches.
“We played really well and created chances, but couldn’t take them, Simba used their experience to score with their opportunities and that is why we have to accept defeat,” said Bushiri.
Njombe Mji is among the bottom three clubs and will have to improve in their remaining matches if they are to avoid the drop come end of the season.
