The League Management Company have shifted the encounter between Nasarawa United and Enugu Rangers to Monday.
The tie was previously scheduled for Sunday but in a bid to allow the hosts recover from their gruelling away trip to Calabar where they faced Enyimba on Thursday, the league organising body decided to shift by a day.
“Our weekend game with Nasarawa United will come up on Monday and not Sunday. The LMC told us of the new date and we are working towards that. We would have left Enugu on Friday but the circular from the LMC changed that,” Enyimba coach Gbenga Ogunbote told Goal.
“We were told it was done because of the home team who played against Enyimba on Thursday in Calabar. We are going there with an emphasis on consolidating our position on the league table.
“We are going to travel on Saturday and the players are in high spirits and raring to go to show Nasarawa United that they are in Lafia for serious business,” he expressed.
Rangers will be seeking a third straight victory after they recovered from losses in their opening two games of the 2017-18 season.
