Ukraine take on Turkey at the Metalist Stadium in Group I of the 2018 World Cup Qualifiers on Saturday night.

Andrey Shevchenko will be aiming to lead his team to their second ever World Cup finals in Russia next year, but they sit in fourth place in Group I, two points behind the automatic qualification spot. Ukraine have had good home form and are (2.25) to win with Nairabet.

The Crescent Stars sit in third place tied on the same points against their hosts but with a better goal difference. It’s new life for Turkey under former Shakhtar Donetsk boss Mircea Lucescu. His 12 year association in Ukraine makes his side tipped for victory at (3.55).

The reverse fixture ended in a stalemate and the same firm is offering odds of (3.20) for a repeat occurrence.

Ukraine have lost just once in their last five home games, wining thrice. With the Kharkov crowd looking to play a role, the men in yellow are tipped to avoid defeat at (1.25).

Turkey on the other hand have lost just once in their last seven meetings with their hosts, winning four times and drawing twice. A win or draw stands at (1.60) for them.

Despite sporting some big names in attack, both sides don’t look to score too many goals but would rather want to play it safe. No less than three goals is priced at (1.22) with Nairabet.
