Muhoroni Youth have forfeited three points to KCB after they failed to show up for their National Super League opener on Sunday.

Muhoroni were relegated from the Kenyan Premier League last season alongside Western Stima and were scheduled to face the bankers at Camp Toyoyo grounds.

However, the team did not show up for the fixture forcing Football Kenya Federation to serve KCB will maximum points.

Meanwhile, Western Stima and Nairobi Stima picked up identical 2-0 wins over Modern Coast Rangers and Nairobi City Stars respectively in other matches played on Sunday.

At the Moi Stadium in Kisumu, two goals by Johana Mwita and Maurice Dukully ensured that Stima kicked off her quest for a return to the top tier on a positive note,

Nairobi Stima also shrugged off a disappointing finish to their 2017 season to see off Nairobi City Stars. Stephen Owusu and Alex Luganji were on target for Stima.

On Saturday, Bidco United, Isibania, Ushuru and Kibera Black Stars got crucial wins over Kangemi All-Stars, Nakuru All-Stars, Administration Police and GFE 105 respectively.

The matches pitting Kenya Police against FC Talanta and Kisumu All-Stars ended in identical 0-0 draws.
