Medeama ace Kwasi Donsu is excited to have extended his deal with the Yellow and Mauves.

The midfielder, who joined the side in 2013, is set to stay in Tarkwa until 2020, with an option to extend for another year.

In 2016, he was linked to South African outfit Mamelodi Sundowns after a splendid performance in the Caf Confederation Cup.

"I am delighted to have signed a new contract," Donsu told his club's official website.

"Medeama is home and I’m happy to have committed my long-term future to the club.

"This is a club with great ambition and the management and fans have been extremely supportive.

"To be able to feature at the top level with this great club means a lot to me.

"I thank the fans for the continuous support."

Donsu has seven goals to his name so far in the Ghana Premier League this season, making him the current joint-top scorer.

“We are delighted to have renewed his contract and everybody is happy at the club," Medeama chief executive officer James Essilfie added.

"He has shown tremendous commitment and dedication and that excites us.

"We believe the new deal will spur him on to continue his fine performances for us.

"He has a great future with us.”
