Maji Maji’s Kondo: We have a lot of work to do

Maji Maji FC head coach Habibu Kondo has admitted that the club face an uphill battle to remain in the Premier League next season.

The Ruvuma based side is currently bottom of the league and need to win at least six games from their remaining seven in order to avoid the drop.

Speaking to Goal, Kondo said that his team has a lot of problems, especially financial issues that have led to low player morale.

"We need a miracle to remain in the Premier League next season, because we have many problems in different departments, it’s not as easy to remain in the top flight as our fans think” said Kondo.
