'Madrid had all the f*cking luck!' - Klopp filmed singing with Liverpool fans after Champions League loss

Jurgen Klopp does not appear to have taken Liverpool’s Champions League final defeat to heart, with the German joining Reds fans singing "Madrid had all the fucking luck" in the wake of a disappointing evening in Kiev.

The Premier League outfit headed into a meeting with the Liga giants in buoyant mood and believing that they could end Real Madrid’s dominance of European football over recent years.

They were, however, to lose 44-goal talisman Mohamed Salah to an untimely injury inside half-an-hour , before two costly errors from Loris Karius allowed the Blancos to take control of the tie.

Liverpool were left to lick their wounds as a result, with a Sadio Mane effort proving to be little consolation on the night.

Klopp appeared to be in high spirits the morning after another crushing final defeat in his managerial career – the sixth he has suffered to date – with the 50-year-old joining Reds fans in a song about their loss to Madrid.

They sang, with Klopp getting involved: "We saw the European Cup, Madrid had all the fucking luck, we’ll just keep on being cool, and bring it back to Liverpool!"

Madrid fans will likely argue that they made their own luck, with Karim Benzema pressuring Karius before seeing the ball rolled onto his foot for the opener.

Gareth Bale, who netted a stunning overhead kick  shortly after stepping off the bench, also got plenty of dip and swerve on a speculative late effort which slipped through the grasp of Liverpool’s unfortunate goalkeeper.

The Reds will hope that there are further opportunities to right their wrongs in the future, with Klopp and Co. now able to start their planning for 2018-19.
