Ojo, who joined the Pride of Benue from Enyimba at the start of the current campaign, told Goal that the matchday 10 encounter with Remo Stars at the Aper Aku Stadium in Markurdi was particularly difficult.
“I would say the game in Markurdi against Remo Stars is so far the toughest for me this season, we got our winning goal in that tension-soaked game in the stoppage time, it was really a difficult game I must confess,’” Ojo told Goal
Ivorian forward Yaya Kone scored the two goals that helped Lobi Stars to a 2-1 win over the Sky Blue Stars in that fixture.
With Remo Stars rooted to the base of the NPFL Group A table, Ojo insists that they are not a bad side but only unlucky to get the results they need.
“Going by what they played in Markurdi, I will say they are a good side and their position on the table is not a reflection of how bad they are as a team," he added.
Remo Stars will be hosting Lobi Stars in the final game of the regular season at the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu and another explosive encounter may be on the cards.
