Although Luis Suarez is no longer a Liverpool player, Norwich City will face plenty of danger men when they travel to Anfield for Friday’s Premier League opener.

The Canaries have conceded 27 goals in their last seven matches against this opposition, with Suarez alone responsible for 12 of those.

Having proved a fitting replacement for the Uruguayan thanks to a return of 71 goals in just 104 appearances, Mohamed Salah is 888Sport’s 14/5 (3.80) favourite to bag the first goal of the new season, and just 8/13 (1.62) to score anytime.

One potential positive for Daniel Farke’s men is the likely absence of  4/5 (1.80) Sadio Mane from the starting line-up, with last season’s joint Golden Boot winner having only returned to training on Monday due to his involvement in the Africa Cup of Nations.

This should mean a start for Divock Origi, who is available at 10/11 (1.91) to strengthen his cult hero status by scoring his first competitive goal since June's Champions League final victory.

However, Roberto Firmino is surely the most generously priced at 19/20 (1.95), having scored twice in the last encounter between the sides and put in a lively performance in last weekend’s Community Shield.

There is no question of who poses the greatest threat for Norwich, with Teemo Pukki having scored 29 of their 93 goals en route to the Championship title.

The Finland international is surely their man most likely to open the scoring at 13/1 (14.00), and can be backed at 4/1 (5.00) to strike anytime.

Brought in over the summer to offer some competition to Pukki in the striker role, Josip Drmic is available at 23/4 (6.75) to immediately endear himself to his new fans with a memorable debut goal.

Emiliano Buendia was one of the Championship’s star creative players last campaign, and is on offer at 19/2 (10.50) to make a seamless step up to the top flight by getting on target.
